To casual passersby, Off & On is retro-minimalist barber, with just one red leather chair, sitting on vintage black and white tiles in the heart of Beirut’s Downtown. To the uncurious, that’s all it is. However, for those who dare to be more inquisitive there is a door that will lead them into the unknown. All they have to do is find it.

The door squeaks open and leads you up a narrowing staircase. Dark, with only a small red light to guide your way, this initial experience serves to only intensify your curiosity. Then comes the music – beats throbbing from above what you thought was just a barbershop. Your mind confused and your adrenalin pumping, you come to the big reveal: a luxurious and opulent club that welcomes you with devilish temptation.

The minimalist bathroom, partly exposed to the rest of the club, is decked out in 10×10 black and white tiles, with a common washbasin area for both genders made to ease conversation and interaction.
